Will the Visa gift card (not prepaid visa) work to purchase items on ebay via paypal?
ByMy friend said it worked because she used it to purchase something on ebay via paypal.
When i asked live help on ebay though they said they weren’t sure, some also said yes it worked and others said it didn’t.
If it does work, how do you use a Visa Gift card on ebay to purchase an item via paypal?
Do i enter the credit card number in the first process where it asks to type in the redemption code for coupons, gift cards and certificates? Or do i skip to the second process and treat the Visa gift card as an actual credit card–giving the expiration date and the three digit number.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Many have done this during the christmas shopping season!

I’ve used visa gift cards to buy things off eBay via paypal on more than one occasion. You do it the same way you would with any other credit or debit card.

Typically prepaid credit cards aren’t taken from Paypal, however EBay offers a credit card payment typically (without Paypal) and you can use prepaid as any other credit card. All you need available is it’s acct#, CID (3 digits code on back typically) and expiration.
