Tropical all-inclusive deals…?

Looking for an all-inclusive resort + airfare for $500-$750 per person. Hubby and I are looking to stay in the budget of $1500 for the total. Preferably Jamaica, since others wanted to go there and might join us.. but anywhere tropical outisde the US is good with us. Looking to travel in January from Boston. Anyone know of any really good deals or good websites to check out? Please help us =) 10 points to whoever helps the most!!

Have you ever heard of Barbados? The island is also located in the Caribbean like Jamaica. It is a very beautiful island with a very tropical backdrop. Barbados is like paradise. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night…you cannot get bored becasue you will alwasy find something to do.

As it relates to accommodation, there is a lovely resort in Barbados called The Barbados Beach Club. This is along the South Coast and has a lovely beach view.

Check out Negril it’s a nicer side of Jamaica (compared to Ochos Rios). Look into Swept Away resort. Or the Riu tends to be a little cheaper than the big names like Sandals. I would book right from a resorts website, some of those “deal” websites are a little sketchy and you don’t end up with what you expected. Or simply go talk to a travel agent to make sure you are getting the best place at the best deal, it’s free to you, the agent gets paid from the hotel & airline.

I don’t have a suggestion, but good luck to you in your search! The winter is the high season for the Caribbean and prices are always sky high then.

I have been watching deals through cheapcaribbean.com. There are some very aggressive deals right now. Not sure though for you time frame. Several people I know have used them and were completely satisfied. Vary your dates to see how time periods can effect the price.
