Depends on your goals. If you want to gain some weight and muscle then go ahead and drink the milk up. Enjoy the chocolate and whey… do it a few times a day if you can, just as long as you are working out hard.
If you are looking to drop weight or get cut up, then milk, especially 2% isn’t such a great idea.

Is milk bad for working out? i always put a scoop of Whey&Soy protien powder+hersheys Chocolate syrup+ milk in a blender. I’m not a huge work out guy though. Average weak kid… 45lbs each side 10 times haha….

I drink organic chocolate milk afterwards and have had good success. I know there are some college football teams that use chocolate milk as well.

New studies show in fact that low fat chocolate milk , Dean’s 1% chocolate milk for one is one of the best recovery drink post workout that you can use to replace what your body depletes its self of during your workout . It bring your blood sugar level back up to normal and has better benefits than that of most high end mixes on the market today ( yes I was shocked to ) chocolate milk use by most pro teams post workout and some what cheaper than the mixes.

nothing in excess is good for you….extra protein will just make you gain weight…

within 30 minutes of your WEIGHTLIFTING ending, try to take in about 12-14 grams of protein if you are about 125lbs. After lifting it is important to get protein straight to your muscles to replenish your leanmuscle tissue which in turn is your fat burner as well which means you burn even more fat.

Milk is crap it takes 4-5 hours to digest compared to water that takes 30 minutes….you have a hour time window tops prior to working out that you need to get your protien/complex carbs in for muscle recovery when drinking milk it will slow down your digestive process on the contrary goats milk digests asap msg me back if u like

Is Marion Barber a first round draft pick this year???

Sure, depending on your diet and goals. Milk is fine for most people, especially if you are trying to gain. If you are more than 20 lbs overweight and wish to get lean, you may wish to ixnay the milk altogether. This shake that I made her is actually really good using water. I think I’ll go make myself one right now! Enjoy
