4) Rebate coupons. These coupons offer money back on certain products.  Some coupons even offer buy one, get one free. When you buy this way, you are saving the full price of the next item.  Stocking up when these items are on sale is even better and saves time and money on car expenses too.

5) Discount codes. Many retail stores offer discount codes on future purchases.  Check your receipts.  It only takes a minute to call or go on-line and get the code for your next purchase savings. Sometimes these codes can be up to 20 percent.
